I recently stayed at the Meetingpoint in Madrid for a week-long trip. The central location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the city while staying in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable both in my room and in the lobby. Additionally, the walking tour guides, David and Aidan, provided informative and friendly tours that I highly recommend.
Would recommend this hotel.

Location; Friendlyness of people; Price
The bathrooms are badly designed!!! People can see you take a bath all naked just by opening the door (main problem in mens part) Lack of privacy is the biggest problem!!! Saw many people complaining that they could be peeked while taking a bath...

I stayed for a few nights, staff was friendly, and location is great. Rooms and toilettes are both confortable and clean. My only suggestions is to start breakfast earlier.

Central location, all facilities well kept and easily accessible
Booked.net was not clear in room preferences (different packages for mixed gender, number of people in room); Booked.net was not clear in added expense for linens and breakfast

The facility was very home-like and spacious for the amount of rooms and beds that were available.
The staff that I encountered were not that friendly. They were not willing to communicate in a positive and friendly way when any situation arose.

Meetingpoint is a very cosy hotel, the staff received me in a very friendly way, and within 30 minutes i felt i was home, it didnt take me a lot of time to feel good and safe. Nice people and the area is amazing, i had a morning walk near the hotel and i discovered it was beside the royal palace where i spent half of my day there shooting photos.
it would have been better if the number of beds do not exceed 5 persons because the size of the room is very small and 10 guys moving while others are sleeping was not very comfortable, and a guest came at 5 am, druunk and vomited on another guest's shoes and on the carpet so i had to leave it very early. (it was very funny though :) ) i have no other objections i loved my stay in the hotel in general it was great :D

The atmosphere here is mind-blowing! Met so many friendly people and had a blast every night. The shared kitchen is super for cooking, and the homemade paella and sangria were jaw-dropping. Early check-in and clean, comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful social staff. Excellent location near major sights. Free and fast wifi. Highly recommended!

location was awesome, very close to city centre, right next to palace. friendly staff, plenty of showers, lockers, and great price too
my only gripe was the plug sockets not being near the bed, but it wouldn't put me off again.

Good, safe and quiet location, very close to Royal Palace, Opera metro station and center. Most of staff are very nice and can speak English. The facilities are good, there are at least 3 plugs in my room, which is really a lot compare to other hostels.
I don't like the cleaning staff, who threw all the things away on the table without asking. So I suggest you put all your staffs in your closet when you go out. If there is a curtain between toilet and bathroom, it would be better for girls.

Meetingpoint has a fantastic location in the centre of Madrid close to attractions such as the Palacio Real and Plaza Mayor among others. The hostel is welcoming and the rooms are well-kept. The showering facilities are very spacious. The staff were helpful when we required advice and spoke good english. Cost of hostel good in an otherwise expensive city.
The interior of the hostel is rather dark at all times of day. Facilities are basic and the dormitory rooms have limited space but I suppose this is to be expected in a budget hostel. One of my friends was disgruntled by the fact that the comic book strip on the wall was incomplete.

I thought it was a very confortable environment. Everyone already new each other, and the staff were pretty helpful. If you wish to stay there, you need the spirit to have to live with those characteristics. Bathrooms with many people, rooms with many people, etc. If you don't have that spirit, then you'll suffer.
The kitchen was quite messy. The fridge was unbelievable. Some other kind of organization should be created. Nobody really knows which is which. I had stuff to keep on the fridge cooling, but didn't because of the amount of things that already were there.

Great location near popular tourist attractions and public transportation. Clean rooms and common areas.- Friendly and helpful staff.
Limited kitchen facilities for cooking. Noisy rooms, especially at night.
